  1. George Anderson of Moyleroe, Delvin was one day leaving Mrs Gilmore at the station. Just above Ballinlough George Anderson showed her where there was an old chapel long ago. There was a little wooden cross on top of a mud-wall. Tom Farrell, who lived in Delvin was at Mass in it.

  2. There is a field in Moyleroe, owned today, by Mrs Tormey of Delvin and there is a stray sod in it. Anyone that goes into it at night cannot get out again until morning.
