    They are called Forts. Fay's fort is in the townland of Cummerstown. The rest are all in the townland of Brownstown within view of each other. They are all circular in shape. There are bushes and a big flat stone on Fay's fort. There is a ring of bushes round Donelans and some round Daly's. There is nothing round Gogarty's or Gavigans. Nobody ever interfered with any of them except M. Fay of Cummerstown Delvin. There was never any music heard in them.
