There are twenty five houses in Drumcree and four are thatched and twenty are slated. There are five old people and their names are Barney Hannon, Kate Gibney, Johnny Tormey and Peter Daly & Mrs Mc Cormack. No one in Drumcree knows Irish. The houses were not more numerous formerly.
