- Different sorts of toys such as tops and whistles are made at home in this district. Tops are made from empty spools. One end of the spools chopped thin. Then a nail is hammered through the spool to make the spike. A whistle is made from a piece of sycamore tree about four inches long and three-quarter inch wide. The skin is taken off without breaking it. A hole is then made in the stick. Then the skin is put back on the stick and arranged is such a way that when you blow into it, it will make a whistle.
