  1. One day a man was going by the shores of Derravaragh when he noticed a big pike in the water. The man looked into his gun but it was empty.
    He then thought of a plan. He put a haw in the gun instead and fired it. The haw, struck the fish and soon a hawthorn bush grew in his back.
