    2. Gooseberry thorns applied to the eyes will cure a sty, but the thorn must be burried afterwards.
    3. The measles can be brought-out by boiling nettles and drinking the water.
    4. Dandelion-tea will cure consumption.
    6. A dock-leaf if rubbed to a sting of a nettle will bring out the rash and ease the pain.
    6. The roots of the dock-leaf will cure a break-out sore on the face.
    The Muldoons near Fore Co. Westmeath have the art of bone-setting. Any bone which they touch will get well. It is said it was given to them by a priest. He said that a long as there was a Muldoon in the country he would be able to set bones.
    Donnellan Ballywilliam Co. Longford has also the art of setting bones.
