  1. Home-Made ointment.
    There is an ointment also made which will cure burns without leaving any scars. It is made from the roots of daisies - the bark of alder and unsalted butter.
    This is prepared by getting the roots of daisies and the bark of a young alder tree; boiled together in a saucepan with a good bit of unsalted butter, for half an hour.
    Then the roots and the boor tree are picked out and the remains are left to cool. This makes the grandest ointment and is a sure cure for a burn, and will clear
