  1. I have made enquires re skull and I find that it is one of three skulls found in the old church at Pollentemple at some time it had been reconstructed. They were kept in the old church untill the new church was built at Maghera about eighty years ago. Then there was one left in each church in the parish Maghera, Virginia, and Lurgan. The other two crumbled away and this one in Maghera kept fresh and then the people began to use it as a cure, but there is no evidence of who it belonged
