In years gone by a stranger came to a house called Clarkes in Mulliganstown, Delvin.

In years gone by a stranger came to a house called Clarkes in Mulliganstown, Devlin. He had a large sum of money, and he got a chest and put his money into it, and he went out at the back of the house and buried it. He saw a while thorn bush growing near him and he broke a slip off it, and planted it over the money and the bush grew up and it is there to this day and no one went near it.
