(1). To go into a piggery and walk round it three times saying:-
Mhucla, mhucla, seo duit do leicne,
leicne, leicne, seo duit do mhucla
(N.B. Leicne is name locally for mumps).

(2) Another cure is to put a donkeys' blinkers (winkers locally) on the patient and lead him into and out of a piggery three times, each time repeating the words - "Huckery, muckery, huckery, muck."
