One day a man was coming from Navan and he met the fear górta. He got it hard to get off the bicycle and he had to crawl on his hands and knees to the nearest house. If he had a crust of bread to eat he would have got better.

The fear górta is a spirit that meets people on the road and makes them exceedingly hungry.
