  1. The days regarded as lucky for marriages are Monday for health. Tuesday for wealth. Wednesday the best day of all. Thursday for losses. Friday for crosses. And Saturday no luck at all.
    As regards births on certain days. Monday's child is fair of face. Tuesday's child is full of grace. Wednesday's child is merry and glad. Thursday child is sorry and sad. Friday's child to God is given. Saturday's child must work for it's living. The child that is born on the Sabbath Day is happy, cheerful, bright and gay.
