  1. The Games I Play
I play a lot of games, such as football, hurling, handball, tig, fox, marbles, cards, draughts, nine noughts and fox and goose. I play football, hurling and handball out door. I play them in the Winter time because the weather is cold and when I play these games they keep me warm. I play tig and fox out door also. There is no fixed number in tig or fox as many as lie can be in the game. Who ever is the tigger follows the rest and the first person he touches is the tigger and that person does the same as the first and so on. I play marbles in the Summer time because the weather is warm and it would be too hot to run. I play cards and draughts in the Winter-time to pass the time away. I play many different games such as fifteen, boneyard, old maid, donkey, beg of my neighbour and whist. I play nine noughts and fox and goose in the Winter to pass the time.
