    The cure for the mumps is to visit a pig-sty three times. The cure for the whooping-cough is to put the person that has the cough in between a donkeys legs. The cure for vomiting and headaches is to go to Tobar-a-Killeen and drink the water. The cure for a boil is to put Saint Patrick's leaf on it or a poultice of linseed meal or soup and sugar. The cure for a whittle is to put a piece of fat bacon on it.
