- When Father John Murphy was trying to get back to Wexford, he had to go through a field of corn. The Yeos were trying to get him by firing through the corn every time they saw it moving. It was near Georges Cross. They were hiding in the bushes. It is said that when they fired at him, he caught the bullets and threw them back at them.
They captured him and tied him to a post. Then they fired at him in order to kill him. But still he fired them back. There was an Irishman working with the Yeo's and he fired at him and killed him.
