A clock creeping on the floor is the sign of rain.
Smoke going out of a chimney real straight is a sign of good weather.

  2. Once upon a time there was a rich farmer and he wanted his sons to till the land. He told them that there was a hidden treasure in the land. He did not know the right spot where it was hidden. Then they dug it up one year after another until they had it all dug up. But they could not find anything. Then they were getting good crops out of the land. They said that it must have been the hidden wealth.
