  1. A lime kiln once stood on the left hand side of the lane leading to Peter Kearneys house of Mullinavalley Moynalty. There is no trace of the lime kiln to be seen now. It was situated along the lane. This lime kiln was used about one hundred years ago. The owner of it then was Father Mooney the C.C. of Moybologue. He lived in Mullinavalley where Mr Thomas Hynes now lives. Every large farmer then used to have lime kilns of their own and the smaller farmers were allowed to use them. There was no charge. The
