  1. The cure for a burn is to get a 'Hararoodle' leaf and dry it to the fire. Then put it on the burn and tie a bandage around it.
    A cure for a mote in the eye is to rub a piece of gold to it.
    A cure for ringworm is if you rub ink to it before it gets too bad it will get better.
    A cure for the jaundice is to get weeds named 'The Fox Tongue' and 'The Three Sisters'. Pound the weeds between two green stones and strain them with a pint of draught stout. Give it as a drink to the person.
    For the dirty mouth the cure belongs to a child who never saw its father.
