    St Patricks Well
There is a well in Carlanstown called St. Patricks-well. Once upon a time it is said that St. Patrick was passing through Carlanstown and he was looking for a drink and he had to go to this stream. Suddenly the water sprung up. Then St. Patrick made the well and ever since it was called St. Patricks well.
