Long ago at a big funeral a man used to count the Gargans.
- There is a fair in Muff every year on the 12th August. It is held at a large rock called "The rock of Muff". All fairs are generally held in a field kept for the purpose. It is called "The green". We have now fairs in all towns in the district.
