  1. We play a lot of games at school and at home. A home and in school we play "hide and seek", "Jackstones", "sitting down tig", 'shipping", "three-legged race", swinging. In Autumn we pick black-berries. On Hallow Eve night we play a lot of fireside games such as burning nuts and melting lead.
    Another game we play is "I lost a letter on the road, and some of you picked it up and put it in your pocket". We also play
    "Draw draw a bucket of water
    For my ladys daughter
    One in a rush two in a bush
    My little lady come under my bush".
