  1. There is a field owned by a man named Mc Keever at Rahood near the town of Nobber in Co. Meath in which there is an old fort. There is a strange legend attached to it, and a large mound of clay surrounded by Hawthorn bushes. The neighbouring people say that on a mid Summers evening strange, and wearied chantings, and sounds can be heard in this old fort.
