  1. First a hole is made in the ground, and a stone is put two yards from that hole, and that is called short spud, and another stone is put a yard away from that, and that is called long spud. Any number can play this game.
    Each one has to throw his button from long spud, and if it falls far away from the hole he can throw it three times. If one pegs his button into the hole, and another to throw his button into it also,
