  1. The children play this game in the playground. They all get round in a ring and hold hands.
A child gets a ball, and runs round behind the ring, saying as he is going.
"I sent a letter to my love,
And on the way I lost it,
Some of you has picked it up,
And put in in his pocket.
It wasnt you, It wasnt you," and so on, till he comes to the child whom he wants to catch him. If he catches him, before he gets into the ring, he has to go round the ring again, repeating the rhyme.
