    A man named Maurice O Mulligan went to the local fair to sell a litter of pigs. It seems that when he sold the pigs, he indulged in a few glasses of poteen. He was coming home late at night. He met a funeral what was termed the fairies or good people. They had a corpse on their shoulders. When they came in front of him on the road, a voice called out, who will carry the corpse? Another voice called out, who but Maurice O Mulligan. He had to proceed on with them to the local graveyard. When a voice called who will dig the grave. As before another voice alled out, who but Maurice O Mulligan. When the grave was dug, and the supposed corpse was left down, the voice called who will lift the offerings? Another voice called out, who but Maurice O Mulligan. When the table was full with gold and silver, Maurice O Mulligan filled his trouser pocket over-flowing. He went his way on the road, and found his pony and cart where he
