  1. It is said that gold is hidden on Stirabout hill. A big black dog is guarding this gold. To get the gold you must catch a live rabbit and set it free. The dog chases the rabbit and if he catches the rabbit it will be in the spot in which the gold is hidden. As soon as the rabbit is seized the dog will drop dead and the person is free to get the hidden treasure. If the rabbit escapes the dog will be able to overcome and drive the treasure seeker away.
