  1. Once upon a time there was a girl who promised to marry man. The man died before the marriage. One night not so long after his death he appeared to the girl and told her that she would have to marry him now. She was afraid of the ghost and did not go to bed the next night. Her father slept in her bed that night and did not see anything. The night after that she went to bed and saw the ghost again. He told her to go to the graveyard at twelve oclock the next night and that they would be married there. The next day she went to a priest. He told her to gather all the old rags about the house and that he would go to the graveyard with her. As they came near the graveyard the ghost came to meet them. When he saw the priest he snapped the bundle of rags from the girl and ran away with them to the graveyard. Next morning the girl went to the graveyard and saw the old rags in little pieces on top of a grave.
