- It is another great feast day. It is supposed on that morning the sun dances in the sky. Everyone eats eggs for breakfast. In the evening the children used to gather together and light a fire. The used to eat the eggs with wooden spoons called "Smallcrus or spellogs" which perhaps means "spiunog
- On May eve long ago the people thought it lucky to clean out their wells. On May morning the people used to wash their face and hand in the dew. The people used to put up a may bush and put flowers and egg shells on it.
