  1. In the townland of Billywood there is a glen, it also contains two hills and they are called the glen hills.
    Carnaross
    It got it's name because long ago there were great heaps of stones there and it is still called the heap of stones or Carn Na Ruis.
    The fort field.
    There is a fort in Mr. P. Farrellys field Loughan, and it is called the fort field. There are firs growing round it. It is said that fairies were seen dancing there long ago. The field in which it is was never tilled because ill-luck would befall anyone would would till it.
