  2. My grandmother used to spin linen. It's called "linsee". She had a piece of land on which she would grow the flax. It would be plucked by the hand and tied in sheaves. Then it would be "bogged" that is step in a bog hold for two or three weeks then it would be "beathled" taken the hard fibre
