    The wren the wren the wren the king of the birds.
    St Stephen's day he was caught in the firs.
    Although he is little his family is great.
    Rise up young lady and give us a treat
    Up with the kettle and down with the pan,
    Give us some money to bury the wren
    Our boots are tore and our clothes are worn
    Following the wren three days or more.
