    Whooping Cough
    Get a red string and tie it round the neck of the person that has the disease. The string must be got from the God-father of the person.
    Go to the corn mill and the miller will give you meal. Boil the meal and eat it and you will be cured.
    Soar Throat
    Put salt in a stocking and tie it round your neck keep it there till it is better.
    Sting
    Get a dock leaf and rub it to a sting of a nettle keep it there till it is better.
    Toothache
    Rub jeye's fluid to the gum and it will cure it.
