  1. My father has only an acre of land it is tilled. We have a cow and we keep some of the milk for our tea.
    We keep some of the milk to churn and we do not have to by our butter. We keep some cattle on the land in Tighes and when the year is up we pay My Tighe.
    HENS
    Hens geese, chickens, pig, cows, and calves, and horses are the animals we keep
    We have thirty hens, White Wy and Rlode Island Red as the breed they are.
    We feed them with Indian Weal, Bran, Pollard in the evening and at noon and oats in the morning. When we are calling them we say chuck, chuck. chucky, chuck.
    CHICKENS
    We have a 140 chickens and they were a hatched out with and incubation. We keep
