    PRAYERS
O good Jesus on this day.
One good Friday we will pray.
The Jews are coming with their spears
    Well sharpened spears
Our Savior through the heart they spear
From hand to hand his blood it flowed
    His blessed Mother standing by.
With a sorrowful heart and a mournfully cry.
Anyone that says this prayer either by
night or by day they shall never die
in mortal sin nor the gates of hell they
    shall never enter in.

I got this from my grand mother
Mrs. Carolan Drumbaragh. Aged 90. [born about 1848]
Transcribed by a member of our volunteer transcription project.
