  1. There is a fort in a field near Dunderry with about seventeen acres of land in it. It is said that there was some fairies there.
One night there was a man going from the town and he was drunk. Everyone was going to the town through that field.
This night when this man was coming home the fairies were kicking football and they started to kick it over to him and annoy him.
When he drew a kick at the ball they knocked him down and then he started to run after them but he kept running after them till he was not able to stir and he lay down beside the ball. When he got up in the morning the ball was turned into a cow dung.
