  1. There are many signs that forecast the weather namely:-
    (1) If a robin stays about a barn it is the sign of a snow-storm.
    (2) If the stars twinkle very brightly it is the sign of frost.
    (3) If the birds fly low it is the sign of rain.
    (4) If distant sounds seem near you it is the sign of rain.
    (5) If the south wind blows it is the sign of rain.
    (6) When the crickets chirp round the heart it is the sign of rain.
    (7) When the birds fly inland it is a sign of a storm at sea.
    (8) If a halo is round the moon it is the sign of a storm.
    (9) If the north wind blows it is a sure sign of snow.
    (10) If a moth flies round the lamp it is the sign of bad weather.
