    had a site taken for a church to be built but no steps have been taken to build it so far.
    People say that whenever you go out to Carlanstown you always see people on the street, because St. Patrick foretold that Carlanstown would always have a watcher and a wonder.
    Several men passed by and at the end of the street they noticed that people would hop out of some hole or corner.
    One night a man was coming home very late and while he was passing through Carlanstown, he looked behind him, and saw a girl sticking her head up through a skylight.
