    So tell me if you can
    The difference 'twixt the cobbler and
    The medical gentleman.

    "Else Mike M'Hugh's a nady,"
    Faith 'tis the former "heels the sole,
    The latter heals the body."
    "Correct I cried, "Hold hard," quoth Mike
    "For I have further found
    The cobbler's work is under foot,
    The doctor's under ground.
    Prepare, dear reader, for this "last"
    That Mike M'Hugh let "fall,"
    Said he "the first will awl for ends,"
    The last he "ends for all. "
