  1. The name of the spot in which I reside is Castlemartin, and my parish is Bohermeen. The number of families in Castlemartin is ten approximately. The homes are all slated except three. The most common name is Mallon.
    The reason it is called Castlemartin is that there was a man named Martin and he owned a castle.
    There are no men over 70 years except one and he has no stories in which you would take an interest in.
    There were two men who emigrated from there to America, and one to Australia five years ago.
    The land all around the district is very rich, some parts of the lands are hilly. There's one part of the district called the Shooting Lodge and there is a little wood growing
