  1. I saw a blackbird's nest in an old kettle in our own field. The kettle was along a ditch. My father knew a woman in Ongenstown who owned a chicken with six toes. My uncle Matt Rogers of Ongenstown had a chicken with a clutch of ducks and this chicken used to swim on the pond with them.
