  1. One day a poor man came to a house in our neighbour-hood. A man and his aged mother lived in this house. The man was in the room shaving. The mother came to the door. The tramp thought there was no one in the house but the old woman. In a threatening attitude demanded. "A drink of milk - or else -.
Jus then the man ran down out of the room and said "Or else - what?" The tramp meekly replied "Or else water." But he did not wait for either.
