  1. Obtained from Mrs Brady Donaghmore, who has the cure handed down from her grandmother. It is written in a little piece of paper and no one knows who wrote it.
    The cure was got from Mrs Dillon ne Gilsenan of Girley great grandmother of the Bradys. People as a rule do not tell the ingredients of their cures but these people gave the paper containing the cure and were quite willing to give it.
    The Cure:-
    1. Red Nettle
    2. Daisy roots
    3. Yarrow
    4. Sorrell
    5. Crow foot
    6. Salt
    7. Suit [Suet]
    8. White of Egg
    9. Butter
    [?] Boil down and put to Bust
