  1. About fifty years ago an old man lived with himself in Westmeath. The parish priest knew him well and he usually spoke to him when he met him. Once he had a pig of his own and he left it in the house along with him. One day the priest was passing by and he said to the old man "why do you keep that pig in the house. "O father, he said, it is not me that is keeping the pig in the house. It's the pig that is keeping me,"
