  1. Juice of boiled Garlic for sprains,
    Celery seed for Rheumatism.
    For sprains and strains: Soak a white bandage in vinegar, then apply.
    Bites and stings. If they remain squeeze the wound, then apply bread-soda.
    For indigestion: put a pinch of bicarbonate soda in a wine-glass, of tepid water, and drink slowly.
    Warts rubbed regularly with washing soda will soon disappear.
    To remove a splinter, mix some plain flour into a dough, with castor oil, mould it over the sore part for twelve hours.
