  1. Long ago when the monks lived in Newtown Abbey. There was an underground tunnel extending from Newtown ti Ballivor. There was another abbey in Ballivor where more monks lived, they used to go from one abbey to the other.
    When the monks were all dead the abbey was blown down but the tunnel still remained there, no people used to go into it.
    One day three men ventured to go into the tunnel. When they had gone some distance two of the men got afraid and went back. But the other man would not go back.
