  1. On a large grazing farm one mile from Trim is a small patch of green grass and which the oldest inhabitants call "a stray sod" which means if you happen to walk on this particular sod you can never find your way.
    Once a man happened to walk on the sod around nine o'clock and strange to relate that man was walking the whole night till seven o'clock next morning when the herd of the farm found him he was almost exhausted from exposure after his weary night. The herd
