  1. In the olden days there lived a family a mile outside Trim. There were two little girls in this family, and one fine day they went out to look for blackberries. While they were picking the blackberries an old woman came from the wood nearby and took away one of the children. The other child ran home and told her parents. They searched for the little girl but all in vain - she could not be found. About a week afterwards a little crippled child came into the house and went under the kitchen table. The family were amazed
