  1. When rain is coming we know by the sky because it is black and the clouds are moving. The sun is gloomy when bad weather is expected and there is a circle round the moon and the stars fall. The rainbow is the sure sign of bad weather. When the wind is in the north it is a sign of frost. From the south bad weather is expected: The East and West winds are dry. The South - West wind is the worst for bringing rain. The dog eats grass when rain is coming.
