  1. When it is going to rain the sky is black all around. There are streamers from the sun. There is a red circle around the moon when rain is due. The stars fall and the clouds are black when rain is due. A coloured rainbow comes in the sky when it is going to rain. The curlews go whistling to and fro. The cat lies by the fire. The dog eats grass when it is going to rain. When the fog goes up it comes down as rain. If the fog comes down it is a sign of good weather. Dust on roadways is the sign of good weather.
