  1. These are some of the fairy forts that are in the district. In Mr. Byrne's field there is a fairy palace. It is in the townland of Martinstown and it is in a field called "Gleann na Sagairt". There is another fairy fort in Martinstown also. These two forts are within view of each other.
    There is a fort on the Fair Green and another in Frayne and one on Otterstown. These three forts are not within view of each other.
